Whoa that's serious heat.   :eek5:  We are getting our shock, going from the pleasant to cool at times low 70s jumping to mid 90s starting tomorrow, and then stay 90 for the next 7 or so they say right now.

We are only supposed to be in the 80's for the next ten days or so, with a chance of rain everyday,  Got another 1/2 inch yesterday morning!

Same here, Carl.  Been raining the past two days with more on the way.  The Bomber Field Warbird Fly-in scheduled for this weekend was postponed because half the field is under water.

But at least we aren't roasting like Stetto is.  Not yet, anyway..... :disturbed:

T-storms and rain scheduled for the next 2 days. That'll cool us down.......!

Boy, do I wish. We're usually in the 70s here until just before the 4th o' July, when it'll climb into the 80s or so til the middle of August. Field crops seem to love this. There are claims of "possible" "isolated" showers next week, not enough to keep me from a constant tax on the well....Odd season, indeed... :sadness:

Forecast was bang on! We got a downpour with sound and lighting effects.....ground was so dry, it soaked it all up..... more on the way.

I'm not complaining......I appreciate the drop in temperature!

stetto

Almost two inches last night. I feel so special.

Another 1/2 inch yesterday morning, 1 2/10ths this morning.

Nada drop, breezy and 95+ since last Thur.  Been threatening some storms, nut most have dissipated or went around,  which is fine, knee deep in haying right now.

No rain for the last few days, it's cloudy, though.  92 degrees yesterday and the humidity is about 114%. All the standing water in the back yard finally dried out and we now have mud runs where the dogs have been doing laps along the fence.

Oh, and hurricane season started.....

Do NOT grow peppers. They quit at 90+ and it takes a week to talk them into continuing once (if?) the temps moderate. I got no clue how they get them Hatch chiles to grow and produce under these conditions...

Very moist here....good for growing moss and incubating mosquitos. Lots of wind too......from every direction.

It reminds me of living on the coast with the cool, wet air blowing in off the Pacific.....

Ugh, bringing the heat here, been mid to high 90s and breezy all last week, this coming week triple digits, maybe as high as 105 on Tue or Wed they said last night. Not a drop of rain in sight, kind of getting to be groundhog day drought summers.  :icon_frown:

Two 100 degree days in a row.  A little cooler today, only 93 right now, but there's supposed to be a "cool" front coming.  That ought to get us down to 92 or so....  :disturbed:

We hit 100 yesterday, 101 right now,  have a 15 mph breeze and some clouds showing up now, so it goes from oven to tolerable and back again. Assuming I have not withered away by then, they are forecasting some 80s toward the weekend.  I don't how people can live in such frigid conditions as that after the last couple days, but I guess I can dig out the winter coats.
