It rained!  For a little while anyway.  I don't know how much because the little glass tube on my rain gauge shattered from the heat a few days ago, but it was enough to get the humidity up to about 137%....

Bags of rain up this way more than 50% more than usual. The pond at our campsite is overflowing....standing water everywhere.
. I wish there was some way to send some down to the Fubar world headquarters.....

Okay, who turned on October??

After 2 nice warm dry days, today was cold, wet, and miserable! I even had the fireplace on to warm up the family room!

We got a little monsoon going on, well not really much rain unless you happen to be under one of the cell that blow up, just a lot of humidity.  95 degrees and 57% humidity, how do you even breathe in that stuff. Supposed to be cool, like mid 80s the next couple days, then the burners get turned up, so I hear.

Onepoint

Whoo, it's a warm one today, 106 right now, and 18% humidity

Just came back from a few days with the kids in New Braunfels, TX.  Temps were 101, 103, 100 and it was 102 when we left to come home this morning.  It was like that here in beautiful downtown Uhhhmmmble as well, but the humidity is a LOT higher.  100 here at the house right now...

jetmex

102 outside right now.  Again.... :disturbed:

We hit 100 yesterday......way too hot for me! And the same day that a buddy asked me to help him on a contract job. I spent all morning emptying a 100 gallon diesel tank with a hand pump!

Somehow I survived.....

Uhg, thats sounds like wo...wor...er someone else should do it.  Going to be blistering here the whole next 7 days, and we are already deep fried.

Well, we finally have consistent highs in the 90s. And even just 20% humidity feels muggy.

Peppers shut down over 90°, so I'm bringing mine in for the duration.

Well that was as scorcher today, record in fact, 107 here at the house, at one point humidity was 12% with a 20mph wind.   Everything shriveled, including me despite 14 glasses of water today.   Only supposed to get to 97 tomorrow, yay.
