Lost my best friend from university days on Monday, and another buddy is going in to have his bladder removed in hopes of keeping this dastardly disease at bay.

Growing old really sucks.....especially if you have to grow old alone!

Sorry to hear that nony.  Cancer sucks for everyone, those who have it and those who know them, no 2 ways about it.

I hear that old age thing is going around and nearly an epidemic, be careful not to catch it!

Sorry Nony. So far we fall into the "friends who have it" category, and @ 54 I'm meticulously negligent on the regular screening regimen. I'm sure that needs to change.

Sorry to hear that, Wayne.  One of my best friends passed away the week before Thanksgiving, and another good friend is in Mexico now getting treatment.  Getting old is definitely not for sissies.

Stetto, get thee to a doctor for an annual physical.  It's worth every trip, I assure you.  We geezers need all the help we can get.
