Any body in here have a quadcopter?

I've seen that Eric a couple of years ago had a video or two on youtube from a quad.  I ended up buying one and am learning how to run the thing. 

Howcome all the cool toys are expensive?

Heh, I was too cheap for that myself, it was my cousins.   It is pretty cool, especially the new ones that re all stablized etc, they take some good video.  So what did ya get?

Bought a DJI Mavic Pro fly more package.  I've had it about 3 weeks.  And its still in beginner mode, which keeps it 97 feet or less high or 97 feet away from me.  We haven't had that many great flying days as its known to be windy around these parts. 

The wind was between 5-12 mph on my weather station here, but I got 4 high wind warnings when I got up to over 70 feet.  I think it triggers at either 20 or 22mph winds.  I am in no hurry to break things and trying to get used to it good. 

The thing practically flies itself though.  Amazing what it can do and has a 4k camera too.  Good excuse to buy a 4k tv sometime but its really hard when what we have is working fine, lol.

The mavic is about the best there is right now...and they are somewhat easier to fly than an Ugly Stik.
