Terrin gave me a SIX GALLON winemaking kit for Christmas.

The chokecherry must started fizzing last night.

I have no idea what I'm doing, and have found that the advice spectrum online is mind boggling.

Wish me luck on this first batch, if it turns out good we may finally get out of the rhubarb crisp rut we've been in here these last 15 years....

Every once in while my wife will make wine, we don't drink it very often, sometimes its pretty good, sometimes not, and I imagine we wouldn't know the difference anyway.   

So good luck with the sperimentin.

This is where the waiting starts. I think I done good, it tastes like a dry red wine with a hint of Bazooka Joe at the finish. No idea what it'll be in a few months.



By my scientifical calculations, It looks like it'll cross the finish line at about 12.5% ABV, quite a bit higher than the stuff from the store.
