I'm not sure if its being an optimist to be thankful for 2020 because 2021 is shaping up to be worse, or be thankful 2020 is almost over.

Best of the holidays to everyone!! I took an internet vacation for a bit. I did, however, watch a video where someone stuck a GoPro on the front of a train, and we took a scenic ride through the Swiss Alps in wintertime ( on the big screen...) in real time. It was pretty spectacular!

Thats neat.  I've watched a few youtube videos on trains, maybe an hour or so long on amtrak starting in Chicago and going to west coast, then catch a train up to say Seattle, then back across to Chicago.

Isn't that great?! No tickets, no luggage, no crowds.......and unlimited snacks from the nearby refrigerator!
