Another flying weekend...

I was back out at Bomber Field this weekend, where we finally flew the prototype Legend Hobby B-17.  It was the most uneventful test flight so far, everything worked and the airplane flew beautifully.  There are a few little engineering and assembly nits left to work out, but we hope to have the model on the market by the end of the year.  Wingspan 125 inches, weighs 36 pounds empty.  The prototype is powered by four Stinger 15cc gassers, but can be converted to electric.  I'm glad to have this one about done, waiting now to see what the next one will be...

Cool, that's a big plane.  I love the fortress, but maybe not enough to lug that around.

That is a BIG model! Need a cube van or cargo trailer to transport that one.......
