Would you please close the &%#$!!*)(@!_ gate and keep all that nice cold air to yourselves?  It's gone from 53 degrees to 42 (and still dropping) in the last half hour, and the lows are supposed to be in the teens for the next few days.  I know you guys love this kind of thing, but none of us south of the Mason Dixon line would be too hurt if you don't want to share......

Yeah u guys up north shut the dang door.  We got to -5 last night, with 20-30 mph winds.  Today it is finally up to 9 and wind is still howling.  I'd sure like to kick ALGORES global warmed up azz.

-11 now, but I'll take that over the +5 and 35mph wind any day.  What you don't like the weather in this part of Texas?

Well the wind died down, and at almost midnight its -8.6 on my thermometer.  As onepoint has alluded to, it feels much warmer with the wind down, rather than higher temps with big wind.  Man that really hurts the face and hands, when you gotta be out in it for a bit.

Uhhh...............No.

24 degrees with a 15kt wind out of the north.  With the wind chill, I think that makes the outside air temp somewhere around f---ing freezing!!

It rained here early yesterday, so there are puddles of ice everywhere.

Good news, we broke into the 20s today, I bet you will warm up before there is permafrost in the ground.

WE're at 49 today with the usual liquid sunshine. Supposed to be sunny and above 50 Sunday. Hmmm, has anybody seen my sun screen around here.

Fear not, fellow Fubarians...warmer air is on its way.. Our temps went up 30 degrees in 2 days...blue skies and sunshine, it is positively balmy for this time of year!!  Bad news is that it is supposed to rain on Tuesday

Yeah we broke freezing yesterday, didn't know how to act without having to wear half of all the clothes I own all at once.  Actually it was kind of weird, it was warm, but the ground still froze so hard the puddles were iced up all day and snow didn't even start to melt.  Can't imagine why when the yard is a huge sheet of ice.

Hunted a varmint contest this weekend,  when we left the ranch Sunday morning to go to the check in, it was 9 degrees.  We had hunted in that mess all nite,  I looked like a camo version of the Abomidable Snowman....

Much warmer now, and we are supposed to get some rain.

It warmed up here as well, now 57 degrees, with rain expected for the rest of the week.  We were in New Orleans over the weekend.  It go so cold the fountain in front of the hotel froze solid.  Took a LOT of that good Cajun food to warm up, but I think I handled that part quite well!

What kind of shape is NO in nowdays?  Don't hear too much about it anymore.

Downtown, the River Walk and the Bourbon Street areas are in really good shape, can't really tell there was a major hurricane a few years back.  We didn't get into any of the outlying areas, but I'm told there are neighborhoods that were just basically abandoned and never cleaned up.

The place is definitely more family oriented than it was when I was there last (pre Katrina).
