Done!  Wing is back where it should be and it only took five minutes out of my extremely busy day!  Did I mention I was a genius?  :disturbed:

Looking for the next project.  What do you guys think of this?

I emailed them a few days ago, they're going to scale up their B-26 Marauder and P-61 kits in the future....

Okay I finally got a serious electrical thingy....I didn't like the bland colors it came with (parkzone Habu), so I changed it......pretty happy with the way it turned out...

Nony, you're going to like that one.  They fly great right out of the box.

I still haven't done a lot of flying.  I do have a new project though, a noseless Nitro Planes A4 Skyhawk.  A bad launch wiped her out from the intakes forward.  I'm in the process of rebuilding it, will probably change the Blue Angel scheme it's in now to either a gray Navy or the white and blue colors of Flight Systems Inc.  I worked for FSI, so I'm leaning in that direction.

The reciever in the Phantom went south, so it's out for repair and I'm at a standstill until it comes back.  PBY is ready to go also, just need a receiver for it.  So many planes, so little cash....

Thanks guys...it was an experiment......The paint job is kinda terrible if you get close up...I was too impatient. Mike put the maiden flight on it...now that I have new eyeballs, I hope to get it up this weekend......

Are you still on 72Mhz? If so, I can help you out.....

Uh. ever thought of hiring a professional:devil:

...Sorry, had to say it--I've been fixing the sins of others all summer...

Actually that thought had cross my mind!!  :icon_mrgreen: You could make a career change by painting foam airplanes!!!!

Nony, the Phantom had my first 2.4 receiver in it.  It was working just fine while I was getting everything set up, then it died.  It'll blip when I plug the battery in; after that, nothing.  I'm sending it back for warranty this week.  Need a receiver for the PBY also, but not a lot of space for it - still have a few empty slots on my Futaba 72mhz radio.

Painting foam is easy, but if you use that Krylon H2O water based spray paint, use their primer first.  Don't ask me how I know this.... :eusa_doh:

Nony, take the gear off the Habu and hand launch it.  Losing the extra weight makes if fly a little better.

too bad..I have some JR 72's that I would like to see put to good use....

I used some sort of craft store paint that my buddy bought...seems okay, but probably should have used the primer first as you mentioned.....
