We got 1.2 inches this morning!  Yesterday it 80, today the high is 55.

We got about 2 inches of rain over the past couple of days, with a little more expected mid-week.  We needed it, but I'll be happy when the sun comes back.  It's been kinda nice not having any mosquitos... :icon_mrgreen:

Had a couple of rounds of severe weather last night. Two different tornadoes spun up about 5 miles from our house. Lots of places had golf ball to baseball size hail.  Thankfully we didn't get any of that.  Did get 1" of rain.

Were getting hammered with winds, and ice storms but nothing like you all.

I'm getting more of a kick out of my kid who is stationed in Minot, and the weird weather they are ( or are not) getting.

Just when you think winter is done, someone up north leaves the gate open. 46 degrees last night, windchill was in the upper 30s. It's warming back up (we'll be back in the 80s by tomorrow), but it's still windy enough to be blowing branches off the trees.

And it rained just enough that I have to mow the damn grass....again.... :disturbed:

Heck we are 64 degrees right now, and 60 MPH gusts.  :eusa_wall: It was steady at 55 for a bit.  Its a brown out again. I know its WY and all, but maybe we can lay off the extreme weather for a while?

70-something yesterday. This morning? 23° with a projected high of 29°. Wind of 25mph.
80s by the end of the week.

Minnesota bound in a week or so, then ?

Onepoint

Yeah 73 yesterday, 8 degree windchill this morning and a dusting of snow which they said wasn't going to happen. Be short lived though, 70 tomorrow, 80s the rest of week, one day flirting to 90s.

And the wind has been horrific even by WY standards the lasty few weeks. 39 trucks tipped over in one day in a 100 mile stretch, 9 of them in a 6 mile stretch by Arlington WY,  an d 3 in one spot on a Hill just south of Cheyenne, Crazy stuff.

About 60 miles east of me as a crow flies a grass fire started during some 70mph wind that snapped a power pole, and has consumed nearly 550k acres by now, which is bigger than the OK and KS fire earlier this year, and no containment, moving so fast I read its jump ahead of trucks before they can setup or make a line. Running SE with the wind down the North side of the Platte river.
