And I bet there is a run, down there, at Wallyworld on mukluks and nanook-of-the-north coats. There is nothing like sharing. :icon_mrgreen:

It is snowing here, but not enough to stick.  In typical southeast Texas fashion, the entire city is in full blown panic mode, schools are shutting down, and I'm watching our ops people across the room doing a beautiful meltdown as our flights stack up on the ramp and on the gates.

Uniform of the day is parka, mukluks, hoodies and shorts.  (I'm not making this up).

It's supposed to freeze tonight.  I'm not looking forward to that, since I have to drive home with all the idiots who have no idea how to deal with all of this.

Hope this comes out.  I shot this from one of our gate cameras earlier this afternoon:

Re the previous photo.  Went from that to this:

If you don't like the weather around here, just wait a minute.

Hard freeze expected tonight.

Yep gonna be cold there with the humidity cutting right into ya.  On a bright note, it got down to 3 degrees here last night.

Dang, we only have a blizzard up here....

I tell ya, I shore do like my 4 wheel drive! First one I've ever owned. Going from past experience, I only need it 3 days a year but today is one of those days.... about 10" of light fluffy stuff..enough to stymie a lot of 2WD vehicles.....Lots more wind and snow overnight...

Onepoint

No blizzard here, but we went to -5 with a -20 windchill last night, good thing I have extra dogs for the 3 dog nights.

...ya could be pretty uncomfortable if ya had to throw a cow on the bed to keep warm........ :eusa_angel:

Ummmmmm.....anyone else want some snow??? Got lots, way more than I need........ honest.......
Today is the second day I'm really glad I have a 4x4. Streets are a mess as the plows can't keep up with the snow...I hear it is ever worse down south, and the storm is heading to the southeast with lots of Artic ("BRRRRrrrr") air following right behind it...

Hope it peters out  before it reaches you guys......

Me too, because I don't need it knee deep and 20 below  :sadness:

Well. got our first snow last night. :eusa_sick:

Just a trace with chilly temps, highs in the upper 20's.

Sheesh, should have gone to Terxas where it melts the next day. :eusa_think:

It turned into the deep freeze here, I guess summer really is over.  :disgust:

Powder snow falling lightly right now for us monday morning.  13 degrees now and got to -3 last night here.  Supposed to get snow over the next couple of days.  Sounds like we need an extended road trip down to either carls or jetmex's place for sayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :eek5:  april???????? :eusa_think:  I can bring an appetite  :vikingsmiley: and a sleeping bag LOL.  And yes, if any snow falls I would shovel your sidewalks there  :eusa_wall:

:eusa_doh: :icon_idea:  HEEEEeeeeeyyyyy I could bring my snowblower down there and have everyone wonder just what the heck that particular machine is.

A what???

Frazz, come on down.  We're having Yankee weather right now - gray, wet and cold.  Sun should be back by the end of the week,a though....

We got down to 17 this morning, with a balmy 28 this afternoon. By 5:00, it was 23 and dropping. Another cautious drive to work, scratch that, to gainful employment. (there is a difference, ya know)  :icon_evil:
