One of you northern types left that door open again and are causing us warm blooded southerners no end of grief.  It's 26 degrees here right now and the the state has just announced mandatory rolling blackouts for today.  Green Bay and Pittsburgh are asking that the roof be left open for the Stupor Bowl, which no one will be able to attend because Dallas is coated with ice and the airport is closed.

So, if one of y'all would please do something about this, it would be much appreciated and we won't have to secede from the union again.... :disturbed:

Oppp's Sorry Jaimie!

I mighta only left it open a crack!
We were blessed with a just a touch, 13" with 3-4' drifts.
Nothing like what Stetto has been getting.
But enough to send the Weather Authorities into Drama hyper-drive.
If you bought what they were selling we would be in a Mini-Ice Age......

Hey, we got severe clear for three days now...And -20 for lows.

I'd heard there might be snow for the superbowl...cool...

Onepoint

Yeah we hit -26 last night, but thankfully the wind never came up like they said it would.

balsum fractus

Aw heck, balmy and sunny up here...we got comfortably above freezing for a change...actually a pretty darned nice day with a few more to come, before the glaciers roll in again......

jetmex

We're expecting an ice storm and possible ssssnnnn.......ssnnnnnn.......sssssssssn...(well, you know) tonight.  It's a balmy 30 right now, with the wind chill down to twenty something.  That damned groundhog better be right..... :sadness:

Buzzardbeak

Boy, do I feel left out. It's 48 degrees with the usual liquid sunhine today. :eusa_think:

Maybe I should move to the sunny south.

No snnnn....ssssssssn.....last night, but there was 1/8 inch of ice on the truck this morning.  Had to use the heat gun to defrost the door so I could get in.  All the bridges are iced over, and we ran out of deicing fluid here at the airport about ten minutes ago.

The best part is the sun will be back and it'll be 60 degrees on Sunday!!   :eusa_clap:

Looks like someone got the door shut.  The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and the icicles are melting.  Still had to scrape ice off the windshield this morning.  Temp is 51 degrees and rising.  If y'all will keep the door shut for the rest of the winter, life will be good!  :icon_mrgreen:

Hey Jaimie,

Can you crack that door open just a tad bit more?
We're sposed to hit 50 tomorrow and Thurs.
I'd kinda like to get a jump start on my tan lines.
Now if I could just remember where I left my fish net speedos......

Yeah, we had a couple 60/60 days.  60 degrees and 60 miles an hour wind.  :disgust:

Kind of makes it hard to test fly the new used WACO E bipe!

stetto

Yessir, a week of above-40 temps in February has been a nice break. We go into the twenties day after tomorrow, but that's ok; The groundhog declared an early Spring, sobeit.
